International Dialing Codes

Telephone

With the form on this page you can look up the International Dialing Codes for all countries in the World.

If for instance you want to dial directly from the US to Denmark - then first look up United States of America and find the Outgoing Dialing Code (011). Then you look up Denmark and find the Ingoing Dialing Code (45). So all you have to do now is to dial 011 45 folowed by the local number.

In some countries you have to wait for a second dialtone. This is indicated with a ~ in the Outgoing Dialing Code. There can be other countries where it is not listed, but in which you have to wait for a second dialtone after dialing the Outgoing Dialing Code.

In the field  Freetext  you can enter a part of the name of a country, whereafter Dialing Codes and Country Name will be found for all country names that contains the entered text.  Every new click on the OK-button to the right of the freetext-field will jump to the next country that contains the entered string.  For example a freetext-search on "mon" will find the following countries:

Ingoing Dialing Code: Fill out the desired field and press the
OK-button to the right of the field to
have the other fields filled out.
Outgoing Dialing Code:
Country Name:
Freetext:     (Repeat click)

In browsers with slow JavaScript execution it may take a few seconds before Dialing Codes or Country Name is found.  At freetext-search the JavaScript interpreter in some browsers can not distinguish between upper- and lowercase for some of the characters beside A-z  (i.g. É and é).

Show List:

sorted after Country Name
sorted after Ingoing Dialing Code
sorted after Outgoing Dialing Code

based on Freetext-search

At slow JavaScript execution it may take quite some time before the list is displayed.  Especially it may take a long time the first time  sorted after Ingoing or Outgoing Dialing Code  is chosen.  Some browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer) may suggest to abort the script - just answer No to this.
